Baumberger Bedding
In order to maintain the high degress of conformability of natural fibers, Baumberger Blankets are quilted as little as possible.
But as much as necessary to ensure a long shelf life or a washability. Just quilting seams in the ceiling have a stiffening effect. One reason why Baumberger blankets have the most rounded steppdessings possible. Duo blankets store more heat than quilts of the same weight due to the higher air entrapment. Two quilts, so to speak, are quilted separately from each other and are only connected by the surrounding binding tape. As a result of which the stitching seams do not pass from top to bottom in a duvet corner, cold bridges are avoided.
The vegetable fibers cotton and linen are relatively smooth and short of fiber structure, relative to wool. Therefore, but also for the sake of washability, Baumberger Bale blankets are more intensely quilted with pure vegetable fillings. Combi covers are tapestry or duo comforters.
These two, as different as possible blankets, are knotted together in winter and can be used separately from each other according to the other seasons. Ceilings equipped with ribbons can also be folded well together on the other half or knotted. So it is possible to make an infant blanket a children blanket.
Plush blankets made from sheep’s wool, camel hair or cotton are mostly used without bed linen. The massaging effect of the pile is perceived as pleasant. Plush blankets are also a lot softer than quilts, which are filled with the same material, or the same amount of material.
At this point it should be pointed out again that all duvets and underbeds are also available in children’s sizes.
Cleaning Tipps
Blankets made of wool or camel hair should be aired well and often sunbathe. A subsequent light knocking increases the cleaning effect. However, the self-cleaning effect of animal fibers does not always make washing the blankets unnecessary. For this you ask us or your dealer for an ecological cleaning service.
Covers should be cold-washed and cold-dried, even with moisturizing detergents. Baumberger plush blankets can be washed cold (wool plush and camel plush). BaLe blankets are washable at 60 °C or 40 °C (plush). Experience has shown that these shrink something after the first wash. For this reason, BaLe ceilings are made larger accordingly.
If necessary, pay attention to water softening measures. After washing, shape well and let dry. Level 2-3 ironing smoothes the blanket and refills the fiber filling. The dryer, as a modern household appliance, still eats too much energy, but here brings the best result at gentle temperatures. Good airing, sunbathing and light beating can also be used to regenerate BaLe products.
Duvets should be replaced after 5 to 8 years, depending on quality and intensity of use.

This relatively thin duvet is ideal for hotter seasons. Linen is known for its cooling properties and quickly transports humidity away from the body and regulates temperature. Organic cotton is especially soft and voluminous. These are amongst the most important characteristics that make this a well-acclimatising and comfortable duvet. It can be fitted with ties to turn it into a combination duvet for example with the Bale Quilted Duvet Warm. The duvet is machine-washable at 60°.

Bale quilted warm
Cotton / Linen
Due to its medium level filling this is a moderately warm duvet with good acclimatising properties that is intended for the warmer months of the year. The rhombus shaped quilting pattern makes the duvet especially soft and smooth. Even in spring or autumn this duvet will provide sufficient warmth. On colder days, or rather nights, you can combine it with the basic BaLe-Quilted Duvet. Both can be joined into one duvet with the help of ties.

BaLe Duo Duvet
Cotton / Linen
Designed to be used all year round, this soft comfortable duvet has superior heat retention properties. The Duo Version of the Bale duvet makes for a particularly adaptable and highly breathable blanket with medium level filling weight. ‘Duo Version’ means two separately quilted duvets, which are joined together with a circumferential tape. Double-layer duvets retain more heat as a result of holding a higher air volume compared to single-layer, quilted duvets of a similar weight. The linen blend also helps to create a dry and warm climate. Like all Bale duvets, it is machine-washable up to 60 °C.

Cotton / Linen
This comfortable and warm duvet for winter is made entirely from plant-based fibres and is especially appreciated by individuals with higher heat requirements. Due to the double-layer design and our special quilting method, it is highly breathable, soft and adaptable.
Linen transports humidity away from the body quickly and has excellent heat retention properties. Our voluminous cotton variety holds air inside, which can then heat up the duvet. Winter duvets should not be too small the size also affects the heating properties.

BaLe Plush Blanket

Our clients find the BaLe plush blanket very cuddly, soft and comfortable. Unique to this new development is that the pile is made of a mixture of organic cotton and linen. Linen quickly transports moisture and has an antibacterial effect. Cotton is very soft and hygroscopic. The properties of both fibres taken together may well compete with animal fibres. BaLe Plush Duo-Planklet
Cotton / Linen
The mix ratio of cotton and linen always guarantees a dry, warm climate under the BaLe Plush Duo-Blanket. In contrast to pure cotton plushes, BaLe plush has significantly improved breathability and increased moisture transport due to the addition of linen. The high dimensional stability is achieved by a special roughening process on the back of the plush. Two layers of the newly developed BaLe plush are laid on top of each other and inseparably joined by means of the circumferential edging tape. The ceiling is deliberately not quilted so that it can snuggle up particularly well to the body.

Wool fibres have a temperature regulating effect, without which a sheep couldn’t survive.
For this reason the Wool-Duo Duvet is suitable for use all year round. The filling is not continuous but is quilted half way on both sides of the fine percale. Inside the duvet we use a light large mesh cotton gauze as a thin, invisible separation layer. In comparison to other, similar weight duvets, this double-layer duvet is much more heat retentive and adaptable.

This duvet is made of two layers of baby-camel lanugo, which are joined by a framing tape made from pure new wool.
An abrasion technique is applied to ensure the shape stability of the duvet, which removes the need for quilting the two layers together. This leaves the duvet soft and lightweight.
